It’s not easy to describe, this community’s sense of pride and unity. The way our residents value service, to help neighbors, to donate time in many selfless acts that seem almost automatic and instinctive. Our volunteers span generations and bridge them.

And you can be a part of making a lot of wonderful things happen by joining us. This is when we do it! on the 2nd Tuesday of each month 6:15 pm at a local food establishment. Become a regular and see how even more gets done. Schedule and Locations Posted Below This is why we do it! This team helps to create a sense of place and preserves the uniqueness of our community by enhancing the physical appearance of our downtown and by focusing on historic preservation. They work together to strengthen Portland's existing business base, while also opening doors and clearing pathways to expand it. This team also promotes our downtown’s assets, enhancing its image, and supports special events to build a fun and exciting atmosphere for residents, visitors, and businesses – giving people a reason to come downtown linger and enjoy what is special about Portland.
